PRF Grafting
PRF (or Platelet Rich Fibrin) is an adjunct to healing after a tooth extraction. It can decrease the amount of infection by 10 fold and accelerates the healing process with you own body’s cells. This therapy is performed at an appointment such as a tooth extraction, where you blood is drawn from you arm (much like a routine physical appointment) and placed into a centrifuge where your body’s own healing cells are concentrated. They are place into a surgical site to accelerate the healing process.
